The Holidays are right around the corner. Many Holiday traditions include traveling to see relatives and loved ones, or those loved ones traveling to you! This season, Vector AeroMedical will also be hosting our friends & colleagues from CAMTS!
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) is an internationally respected body made up of industry experts from across all aspects of the medical transportation sub-specialty. Each quarter their board of directors meet to review safety policy and debate best-practices in operations. One of the most important functions of this board is to establish a method to ensure quality among medical transport agencies. Vector AeroMedical received its Conditional CAMTS Accreditation status in 2017. This prestigious award is bestowed on an agency after supplying evidence of compliance with a preponderance of the extensive CAMTS standards. These standards cover topics ranging from medical provider education to minimum pilot qualification. Truly only the top transport agencies with a culture of safety & transparency are selected for accreditation.
The CAMTS site survey team will be conducting an on site review of Vector AeroMedical in December. This site survey team will be speaking with members of each Vector AeroMedical department. The information they gather will be submitted to the CAMTS Board of Directors who will make a decision at their next board meeting to accredit Vector AeroMedical at their next level of accreditation.
If you would like to speak to the site surveyors during their visit (December 17th & December 18th) please let us know! You can reach out with your request to Program Director, Andrew Baird by emailing [email protected] or by sending a written notice to:
